Scholarship Winner

Rhonda O'Connor is receiving a $1000 scholarship check from the Egyptian Council of Housing Authorities (ECHO) to assist her in furthering her education.  Rhonda plans to purchase a computer with the money.  She has just finished John A. Logan College with an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice.  She plans to attend SIU in Carbondale.  Rhonda is also the Lamar High-Rise representative on HACM's Resident Advisory Board.

Fall Family Party

The Housing Authority held its Annual Fall Family Party October 18, 2001. The office staff prepared and served over 100 roasted hot dogs, which were washed down with several gallons of soda and hot chocolate; 20+ faces were painted; numerous prizes were awarded and everyone enjoyed the hayrides provided by the Maintenance Supervisor (even the adults).
